Welcome to Mount Farm Barn, a new family run boutique Bed and Breakfast set close to Holt in the heart of the stunning Stody Estate. At Mount Farm our guiding principle is to offer exceptional accomodation and service, and to make our guests feel they are 'home from home'. Combining comfy beds, immaculate bathrooms, fresh flowers and holiday home space to relax in, we strive to provide an ideal base from which to relax and enjoy the wonderful North Norfolk coastline.

"Mount Farm Barn has the fortuitous privilege of being set in not only one of the most stunning villages in Norfolk but also in its most seen – by film aficionados that is. The village of Melton Constable played a starring role in the gorgeous 1970 film adaption of L.P Hartley’s The Go Between. Sadly things did not end well for the lovers played by Julie Christie and Alan Bates but the imposing manor in which the family lived remains – as does the pleasant village green and surrounding country pubs."

This has to be one of the best B&B's I've stayed in. David & Diana are perfect hosts, everything thought of and nothing a problem. Beautiful comfortable bed with a great shower and soft absorbent towels, you can't ask for anything more. Due to the unseasonal wintry weather we had a wood-burning stove roaring away, waiting for our return after touring round the area. The same fire lit before the most superb cooked or continental breakfast. This is a home from home we didn't want to leave but will most definitely come back.
