Kensington Place B&B is a well maintained 1970’s purpose built portered block with attractive Virginia creeper on the south and west facades. Near to Kensington High Street and Kensington Gardens and very near to Notting Hill Gate and Portobello Road. Holland Park is just down the road which hosts Opera in the summer – a pleasant 10 minute walk to the venue (watch out for the peacocks) through leafy Kensington. The accommodation is in a very upmarket apartment block on the 5th floor with a very modern lift. A lovely twin room (2 beds) and modern adjacent bathroom with both tub and walk in shower for the sole use of the guests. The host is very happy for the guests to use the sitting room and breakfast is taken in the light and airy dining room (Continental breakfast is included - Full English on request at £8 per head). Plenty of interesting pubs and restaurants nearby. Close to the lovely and historic Holland Park and with easy access to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Kensington High Street and Kensington Church Street are very good and fashionable shopping areas.
