Detmore House is a boutique style bed & breakfast, in a unique position. Drive off the main A40, down the private drive, over the river Chelt and you will find yourself in an oasis of tranquility. On the edge of Cheltenham yet set in 7 acres of grounds in an area of outstanding natural beauty. This is an interesting mixed period property dating from 1547 with the latest addition being added in 2009 when the property was also renovated. It has been the home of poets, artists and writers. The rooms have been completely renovated with new furnishings, high quality comfy beds and soft white bedding to sink in to. Fluffy towels & Duck Island luxury toiletries, making this the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring the beautiful Cotswolds.
