Balfour Winery is one of England's most well-respected and renowned wineries, a pioneer for both English traditional method sparkling wine and a new wave of English still wines. The stylish contemporary building, The View, offers spectacular facilities for your tour, tasting, or event. 

Where is Balfour Winery located?

Staplehurst, nestled in the heart of Kent, in an area known as the Garden of England, you will find Balfour Winery, one of England’s leading wine producers. Access the peace and tranquility at Balfour Winery in just 55 minutes from London Bridge. A direct train from the city brings you to Marden Station, only two miles from the winery.

A sanctuary from the bustle and stress of the city, the Estate comprises 400 acres of manicured vineyards, apple orchards, wildflower meadows and ancient oak woodland, rich in flora and fauna. Balfour Winery offers an unparalleled experience for nature and wine lovers alike. You can stroll through the beautiful vineyards on a free self-guided stroll or reserve your place on an expert-led tour and tasting experience. 

Their stylish and contemporary tasting room, "The View", offers panoramic breath-taking views of Nannette's Vineyard and the Tudor Estate beyond. 

Enjoy one of their seasonal sharing platters, made with delicious and local produce. They offer local charcuterie, seafood, cheese and vegetarian options, all served with olives, quince jam, bread and crackers. Throughout winter they also offer a delicious baked camembert served alongside warm bread and butter.

Balfour Winery is open seven days a week from 10am and hosts a variety of events from Jazz Evenings, Yoga sessions, Dining Club Music Sessions and more!
