Nutbourne Vineyards were first planted in 1980 and there are now 18 acres of vines in production.
We grow 7 different types of grape: - The Riesling Style: - Bacchus, Huxelrebe, Reichensteiner, Schönburger, Muller Thurgau, and some Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for our Sparkling blend.
Our total wine production is between 25,000 and 50,000 bottles per year.
As well as winning various awards and medals, Nutbourne wines all carry the EEC standThe vineyards are set in the lovely grounds of Nutbourne Manor, Nr. Pulborough, West Sussex. Visitors can wander through all the vineyards, learn how grapes are grown in this country, and then visit the historic Windmill to taste some of the Award winning wines we make. There are also two lovely lakes , wild fowl and a family of llamas ard of “Quality Wine PSR” - the highest grading for wine in this country.

"Nestled in the shelter of the South Downs, Nutbourne produces up to 50,000 bottles of wine from its 26 acres, annually. With soil similar to the Champagne region in France, Nutbourne has its own sparkling wine, Nutty, as well as white and rose offerings. Visitors can walk the vineyard trail and enjoy tastings from May until the end of October."
