West Midland Safari & Leisure Park

At West Midlands Safari Park the 4 mile drive-through Safari covers an area of over 150 acres, which includes the ‘Kingdom of White Lions’ where you can see the largest pride of White Lions in Europe. The park is home to a variety of, exotic and unusual animals which roam the reserves, including our newest exhibit the African Village. There are also Elephants, White & Indain Rhino, White Tigers, Tigers, Giraffe, Lion, Wallaby, Tiger, Emu, Camel, Zebra, Gnu, Eland, Ankole Cattle, Yak, Przewalski´s Horse, Asian Buffalo, Wolfcand all kinds of Antelope! To ensure that there really is never a dull moment, there are a variety of Live Shows and Attractions at timed intervals during the day. These include Animal Encounter, Reptile Encounter, Sealion Show and twice daily Hippo Feeding. If that’s not enough then you can enjoy the amusement area with over 30 thrilling rides which includes the £1m Wild River Rafting. Lemurs really are on the loose at West Midland Safari Park in the UK’s largest walk-through Lemur Exhibit. Located in natural woodland, beside a centuries old lake, “Walking with Lemurs” is an exciting new exhibit for 2011 that is home to a variety of Lemur that include Ring Tailed, White-Front Brown and Red Bellied – all native of Madagascar and now totally free range at the Park. There are themed Lemur talks and special activities organized throughout main holiday times.
