Quince Honey Farm

The world famous Quince Honey Farm allows close up viewing of these wild and wonderful creatures in the unique indoor apiary. The glass booths show working colonies of honeybees without interfering with their natural lifestyle. View the complete story of honey production and beeswax from the hive to the finished product. Brand new for 2011 is The Happy Bee Playhive, an indoor soft play area to keep the children happy while you enjoy a cuppa and a cream tea from the Cafe. Also a colony of leaf cutting ants are hard at work for your viewing pleasure, marching back and forth carrying leaves to their nest.
