The World of Glass
The award winning World of Glass offers a great day out for all the family. Situated in the heart of the Victorian Glass and coal town of St Helens, Merseyside, you can step back in time in the Victorian Cone House Glass Furnace built in 1887 as well as journeying into the future through the amazing ´Glass Revolution´ special effects film show. You can also watch our resident glassblowers create beautifully shaped, decorative pieces using traditional methods and tools of this ancient craft. Our interactive crystal collection has examples from Ancient Egypt, Roman, Medieval, Venetian and European Glass.
