Places to visit in or near Portsoy

Portsoy is on the north coast of Aberdeenshire and dates back to the 16th century. It has two harbours. The old harbour was built in 1692 and the new one in 1825 and is still used by fishing boats today. The area is well known for its Portsoy Marble which is a type of serpentine quarried near the town and used throughout Europe.
