Places to visit in or near Llanelli

Llanelli is a large town on the south coast of Wales. Involved in the coal trade since the 17th century reaching its peak with the development of the pit engine. Tinplating was the second largest industry in the area followed by, more recently, steelworks. With a beautiful sandy beach and some historic sites to explore, there is a selection of shops and accommodation.
