Wharfedale Grange

Wharfedale Grange have just hosted my husband's surprise 50th birthday party and wow! What an incredible venue. I booked the venue when Claire, the owner had just a mood board in her office nearly a year ago. She successfully sold her vision to me – and her vision has turned into the reality that is the truly stunning venue it is now. Claire supported my last minute request for a TV screen for the Football World Cup (brilliant that it fell on the same day!!) and was more than happy to be part of the team to ensure my husband was completely in the dark, pretending to be gardening when we ‘accidentally' turned up to the wrong part of the venue so that she could lead us through the back of the house; so that it truly was a surprise when we eventually got to the terrace! Everything in the venue is stunning, from the outdoor environment, the relaxed mix and match furniture, to the beautiful indoor furnishings, glassware (I wanted to steal it all), staff and ambience. I think I could live in this venue quite happily and I hope that everyone loves their experience here as much as we did. Thank you Claire and the team for going the extra mile, looking after us and making this special occasion ever more brilliant by having such a fabulous venue.

Undoubtedly one of the best wedding venues I have ever had the pleasure of attending. The owner Claire and her team have created the impossible. The venue is truly one of a kind. The beautiful, elegant and well thought through design really puts it above the rest. Based in the heart of Harrogate this venue holds everything for ‘the bride that wants everything' and so so much more. From hidden Prosecco taps, to a glorious fully functioning bar (not forgetting the most regal and charismatic grand hall), words really cannot do Wharfedale Grange justice. Claire is a natural hostess who ensured the big day went without a hitch, going beyond her role of just hiring out her venue. She has given Yorkshires finest town a slice of true rural luxury. Just an outright outstanding venue that will tower the wedding venue industry for many more years to come.

WOW, what a day! Just a very quick note to thank you and your team for a magnificent day (by far, the best day of my life). As you are probably aware I gave the funds for the wedding to Eleanor and Lee about a year ago and told them to manage it. Up until last Saturday I had very little involvement, so the detail and organisation was as much a surprise to me as it will have been to our guests. The last time I saw the venue was in its very early stages of refurbishment. Full and utter credit goes to you for your eye, flare, design skills, vision, but most of all your faith. Naturally both myself and Paula have attended many weddings, and celebration events in the last 30 years, but never have we seen such a stunning and spectacular venue as Wharfedale Grange.

We were absolutely honoured to be the first couple to use the newly renovated barn at Wharfedale Grange as our wedding reception venue on 5th May 2018. Everything about WG was perfect, so stunning, stylish and glamorous. There is no other venue quite like it in Yorkshire! Our guests were wowed by the beautiful main barn, the mirrored bar and the outside courtyard which was the ideal place for welcome drinks in the sunshine. From the Prosecco tap in the ladies toilet to the ‘secret' brides dressing room, it's the little quirks which make this place stand out. The setting in the Yorkshire hills is simply idyllic too. Credit to Claire and her team who made our day unforgettable. Planning my next event there already! We'll be back.

F I V E S T A R V E N U E!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to Claire, Zach, Victor and the team at Wharfedale Grange for going above and beyond to ensure our day was the perfect start to our married life together. Nothing was too much trouble on top of the already high standards they set for themselves. We have heard nothing but fantastic compliments of the venue and its staff so thank you for making everything seem so easy and seamless, it truly was a magical day for us both that we will never forget! We can't recommend this venue enough and its team to anyone wanting to get married in the future!!

We had a wonderful wedding day at Wharfedale Grange. The venue, from the bridal room, to the gorgeous ceremony room and amazing barn for dinner and dancing, was all perfect. We loved having a single venue – and Claire and Zach were there to help with anything we needed, and make the day run so smoothly. And all set in the fabulous Yorkshire countryside – which made for fabulous photos by James & Lianne Wedding Photography. Many of our guests said it was the best food they'd had at a wedding, from one of Wharfedale's recommended caterers, The Hog and Apple Food Company.

We were not only blown away by the stunning venue and the views but the local suppliers were top quality and the friendly staff at Wharfedale Grange made everything special, right down to the last detail. It was a fabulous day and we had guests arriving from Scotland, Ireland and the Dordogne, all stunning places but they adored Yorkshire and most stayed on to explore the surrounding area, visiting Harewood House, shopping in boutiques and generally having the best time.

What an utterly fabulous place! My daughter's wedding could not have been held in a more beautiful setting. Claire has created the most magical venue and she and her wonderful team created the most memorable day – well organised in every way. It wasn't even just the day that was so memorable but all their help in the days leading up to the wedding when nothing was too much trouble.
