Exeter Golf and Country Club

We looked around many venues for our wedding before booking Exeter Golf and Country Club. From the moment we made the first call to the end of our wedding day, they ensured our day was perfect. Without exception our guests commented on what a brilliant venue it was. Perfect for photo's and as each part of the day was in a different room, everything flowed without people having to hang about for room changes. The food was amazing served by very polite, friendly and smiley waiting staff. The bar staff were welcoming to us and all our guests and were quick to bring us a bag of ice when one of our little guests banged her head. Amber Borrie is a pocket rocket. Her can do attitude is so welcome and refreshing. Nothing was too much trouble. Other venues we looked at seemed to say “no” a lot but not Amber. She was so calm about everything and really listened to what we wanted with such good humour, as the bride it felt more like I had a friend guiding me through. On the day everything she said she would do was done and more besides. We had forgotten to ask about a knife for cutting the cake but there it was. Each room was seamlessly prepared during the day with Amber at the helm. She even had my flip flops ready to hand to me after our first dance to relieve my aching feet! As a result thanks to all the wonderful people involved in our day, we have the best memories. We were more than happy and our guests comments and smiles said it all. I don't think we were half as nervous as we thought we would be because of the professionalism of EGCC, we were able to enjoy our day and not worry about anything. Thank you Amber and the whole team. Everything from the first meeting to the wedding day was easy, hardly any stress and super organised! They did everything they could to ensure that we had an amazing day! From the moment my Fiancé and I attended the Wedding Fayre at Exeter Golf and Country club we knew it was the venue for us. What we didn't know until our wedding day unfolded was just how magical the club would make that day. The Wedding coordinators worked so hard and made everything look beautiful, accompanied by delicious food. The staff were attentive and extremely professional at all times. Starting with the ceremony, followed by a wedding breakfast and ending with an evening party we couldn't have wanted for more. We would highly recommend EGCC for anyone's special day.
