The Alnwick Garden is one of the most exciting contemporary gardens to be developed in the world in the last 100 years. Inspired by the Duchess of Northumberland and designed by the world-renowned Belgian landscape firm Wirtz International, The Garden's counter piece is the Grand Cascade, a magnificent tumbling mass of water surrounded by cool hornbeam arbours. Wedding guests can enjoy the beauty of The Garden, with perfect scenery for photographs, as well as delicious menus and impeccable service. Whether you require an intimate and relaxed event or a more formal and lavish affair, The Garden can provide a special space with incredible views and a team dedicated to your dream day. Ceremonies take place in the light and contemporary Pavilion room, designed by Sir Michael Hopkins, overlooking one of the world's most exciting gardens. With glass walls and a high ceiling, you can enjoy the panoramic views and beautiful colours of The Garden in bloom which provide the perfect backdrop to your wedding photographs, whilst your guests will enjoy wandering the grounds and soaking up the surroundings. The Pavilion Room can hold marriages for up to 250 guests with celebratory drinks served on the terraces to soak up the captivating views. Up to 500 guests can join the reception party, with dinner overlooking the Grand Cascade followed by dancing under the stars and above thousands of twinkling lights in the Pavilions' Atrium.
