“When we viewed Hylands House with friends everyone's expression was the same; we were all smiling from ear to ear”. “Typically, as girls do, I wanted to see other venues but everyone including me really knew I would decide on Hylands House in the end. My favourite room by far is the Drawing Room. The piano makes is look so grand and delicate all at the same time. The ceiling, walls and even the colour are just gorgeous. I couldn't imagine walking into any other room to be married. The Grand Pavilion was exactly what we needed for our 160 reception guests. It was decorated it to have a rustic, woodland whimsical feel to it. Together we all created an amazing décor. The Pavilion looked stunning and it was very emotional for me to walk into it on the day. After we had our photos taken we had a quiet moment to ourselves. We strolled through the magnificent parkland at Hylands, and at one point, we looked round and the noise of the people had quietened. We could see lots of family and friends mingling and enjoying themselves. This was a very special moment for us because we felt relieved that after so many months of planning, we had managed to achieve our dream wedding"

“I loved having reception drinks in the beautiful drawing room. Our guests looked around the House while we were having photos taken and the weather enabled people to enjoy the terrace and take in the amazing views. “The wedding breakfast and the disco took place in the Grand Pavilion. This meant that all my guests were in one place whether they were on the dance floor, at the bar or sitting down as opposed to a venue that has loads of different rooms where guests are scattered. “The whole day was my favourite part! I'll always remember walking into the Pavilion just before we did the receiving line and being blown away by how wonderful it looked”.

I have never been offered anything like Hylands. It is striking both inside and out and there is so much history. Along with the mansion, I am hiring the contemporary Grand Pavilion and I love the contrast of the old and the new.” “It was great meeting Tom. He really knew what he was talking about and was so enthusiastic about our plans. He could envision so much more to make our wedding truly special.”
