To be found in 10 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, Homewood is just a few miles south east of the world heritage city of Bath. With an inviting mix of roaring log fires, original 13th century features, 21st century comforts and contemporary art, Homewood makes an idyllic backdrop for celebrations large and small.

What makes Homewood a unique wedding venue?

Whether you've always imagined the quintessential countryside wedding complete with Pimm's and canapés on the lawn, have a cosy winter wedding with postcard perfect landscapes and fire pits in mind, or have your heart firmly set on a truly one-of-a-kind celebration to reflect your style and personality, Homewood will be on hand every step of the way to help deliver your dream day, exactly as you imagined it. Photo opportunities abound both in and around the country house and there's also a dedicated wedding coordinator to help guide you through the planning process with ease.

What is a typical wedding like at Homewood?

Homewood's suite of rooms has been designed with flexibility in mind; it can be divided into three for intimate celebrations, or used as a whole to seat up to 120 for the ceremony or wedding breakfast and up to 200 for an evening reception. For those looking for a bigger bash, there's also the option of a marquee wedding. With a selection of event spaces, inside and out, Homewood can tailor your big day to suit you, with menus from the executive chef to match. With a vast amount of outside space, you can enjoy lawn games, wander at leisure and find the perfect backdrop for your photos. Rooms are light bright and enjoy views out over the leafy grounds.

What Wedding Packages does Homewood offer?

Homewood has a selection of packages tailored to your special day, as well as last-minute availability and they're more than happy to put together completely bespoke packages to suit.

What Extra facilities does Homewood have to assist couples to have the perfect day?

Homewood is available for exclusive and non-exclusive weddings. Guests can recharge during their visit by using the spa facilities during their visit, and by taking the entire venue will have sole use of the house, to include the foyer, bar, lounges, dining rooms and 20 individually-designed bedrooms and suites.

Where is Homewood located?

Abbey Lane, Freshford, Bath, Bath & North East Somerset, BathBA2 7TB, United Kingdom

From M4 Motorway, take Junction 18. Follow the A46 to Bath city centre. From the centre take the A36 towards Warminster and Salisbury. Follow this road for approximately 5 miles and you will reach a set of traffic lights and a public house called the Viaduct. Go straight through the lights and up to the top of the hill. Pass a left turn for 'Limpley Stoke and Freshford', a right turn for Pipehouse, and a no through left hand turn. You will then see the sign for Homewood on your left. Take the turning left marked Freshford and Sharpstone and you will find the entrance to Homewood on the left hand side.
