Westerham Golf Club

My husband and I chose Westerham as our wedding venue back in January and we got married on October 27th. The process was unbelievably easy and I was constantly liasing with Bobbie about all the tiny details. Honestly nothing was too much for this venue. Any questions I had I just picked up the phone and they'd be answered with no issues at all. Bobbie was so thorough and so efficient that I was so confident with how they day would be. I'd also like to add what a nice person she is which really helps when you're getting married and the event planner is as excited as you are - because let's face it a bride to be is constantly on cloud 9 in a world of her own! She defo got that :-) Now the day... could not be faulted. Despite being cliché every single person has said it's the best wedding they've ever been to and that is thanks to the staff, the food and the extra mile that Ish and his team went to - I've seen a post which says the portion sizes were small this was definitely not the case at our wedding. We chose to offer lamb shank or salmon and both were huge which our guests loved. A small example of nothing was too much trouble: we had quite a young wedding 125 day guests and 40 evening. We'd said to Ish in our meeting no tea or coffee after the meal only for two tables which again wasn't a problem at all - anything we wanted just got done. A little later on in the evening the oldies were all sitting in the seperare room with the comfy chairs and Ish and his team brought them all tea and coffee once again which they just absolute loved and appreciated. He looked after everyone. Another example is that I changed into a reception dress after cutting the cake and the staff gave me their office to do it. All of our needs were accommodated. Ish's team of bubbly,friendly and young waiters and waitresses also added to the fun of our day and had a little dance on the dance floor with us when everything had been done. This is a stunning wedding venue with a wonderful team. Thank you to all at Westerham for hosting the best day of our lives.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here at the end of July on an extremely wet day. The build-up to the wedding wasn't the smoothest process, I had to be very on-top of everything and there was limited contact, but this all changed from the moment Jamie came onto the scene in the week before the wedding- he was beyond incredible. There are no words to explain just how fantastic this man is. My mum and dad couldn't get over just how hard he worked yet made everything appear so smooth and easy. He seemed to be everywhere and anywhere. He approached my parents when required and I have to say, my husband and I only saw him when we arrived and he fixed my veil and when our next course of food was due and this is how we all wanted it to be. He really was a godsend to us and I really do feel made the wedding even better than it could have been- thank you so much Jamie! The setting is gorgeous, our wedding photos are simply stunning, plenty of parking for guests, places for people to smoke and access to a balcony even though we couldn't use it. The food was also incredible. I have never had food served at a wedding like it and many guests have since said the same. They also liked having a choice of mains and I liked how dietary requirements were dealt with so well. Westerham gave us everything we wanted and we were delighted with the experience. I got married here on the 9th Sept 2017 and I cannot recommend this place enough. We dealt with Bobbie who was just fantastic. She is down to earth, not pushy and a pleasure to deal with. On the day she wasn't able to attend but it was no problem because Jamie and Martin were on hand and it was like they had been helping us from the start, which shows how well every little detail is communicated. Everything was so well organised and faultless. The food was delicious and served piping hot and quickly. We have had so many guests tell us what a great day they had. We hired a band for the evening who were also amazing and played until 12.30, a photo booth and a sweet table (just to give you an idea of what types of things this venue can accommodate). The setting is lovely and there is a large balcony so your guests can wander outside for fresh air. Thank you Bobbie, Martin and Jamie and of course all the bar staff and waiters/waitresses. You all make an excellent team and are a credit to the golf club. Clair

As a wedding planner at a hotel, becoming the bride was difficult. I had high expectations and an insiders perspective on weddings and it made finding a venue difficult until I found Westerham Golf Club. The staff and team at WGC were amazing from start to finish, with Louise being incredibly friendly, helpful and experienced, letting me put my own stamp on the day and helping me. Jamie & Martin who looked after me on the day were incredible, they supported me and made me laugh, throughout the day. Everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble, Jamie stayed about 4 hours longer than his shift just because he wanted to help and was involved in the day! Bobbie in the office was happy to help when I arrived even though she was doing her own work. The whole team was fantastic! The food was incredible and my guests cannot stop talking about it! We cannot say thank you enough! I want to do it all again, it was such a dream come true.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Westerham and our day could not have been more perfect. All our guests commented on what a lovely feel the venue had and what a great time they had! Louise and the team organised everything for us so all the stress was taken away. Martin looked after us on the day brilliantly and no one was left not knowing where to be or what was happening! We had the most beautiful day and can't recommend Westerham enough for a wedding venue.

We had our wedding at the golf course in April this year and it couldn't of been more perfect. Louise was amazing from day one helping us get organised nothing was ever a problem. Martin and James were absolutely brilliant the day of the wedding, organisation down to being so welcoming, friendly and genuinely enjoying what they do! All 3 are a credit to the business! And I'd recommend every time!!!
