Thoroughly recommended. Wayside House is all you would want (and more) from a Cotswold country B&B. Whichford itself is a beautiful village with a green, plenty of walks, a pub and it is the home of Whichford Pottery where you can watch potters at work, purchase frost proof garden pottery or browse their international ceramics gallery then stop for a spot of lunch in the rustic Straw Kitchen. Wayside B & B is clean, comfortable, spacious and stylish. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful in the setting of a beautiful country kitchen compete with Range. Mary is a delightful host; welcoming, friendly and helpful. What more could you ask? This was our second visit and my husband and I will definitely book to stay in Wayside House again very soon. We have just had a wonderful stay here, it was very clean, warm and well equipped. A warm welcome from Mary who did a good breakfast, and gave us ideas and directions to places to visit. We took our small dog Bella who got on well with Mary and her two dogs Isla and Mabel, she had a good size secure garden to run about in as well as the village green just across the road. The Traditional pub just 100 yards away had good food and a selection of real ales to choose from. Would recommend and return ourselves Jill & John

Stayed for 1 night as we were attending a wedding in the area. Mary couldn't have been a better host she looked after our 12-month-old dog in her house with her own dogs while we were out, knowing we were at a wedding she made breakfast later and offered the services of one of her sons to pick us up. Sleeping quarters were very comfortable breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend and would most definitely stay again if we were in the area.

The facilities at Wayside exceeded all our needs. Continental breakfast items were provided in the living/kitchenette room, which was very convenient and unobtrusive. Mary kindly booked a table for evening meals at the local pub. The bedroom was extremely quiet, which along with the comfy bed, ensured a good night's sleep was had.

An amazing place to stay, the accommodation consisted of a twin bedroom, large barroom, and a lounge, a tv which had Sky. Here was also an area which had a fridge, kettle to make tea & coffee that was provided. Mary the owner was delightful, also Mable the dog. Breakfast was in Mary's kitchen. Great!

Lovely spacious accommodation. Mary made us very welcome. Location is quiet but within easy reach of Cotswold villages and attractions. Excellent pub in the village. A very comfortable stay, we particularly liked the self-contained nature of the accommodation. Highly recommended.

Excellent beds; bathroom with every facility and provision. Sitting room provided with TV, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh milk provided, very good. Every consideration for guests in total comfort; all done with friendly and unstinting service. Angela B-C

Attention to detail in the design of the property makes it very comfortable place to stay. This combined with the thoughtfulness of the owner, offers true luxury. The village is very pretty and there is excellent walking!
