“Wonderful experience ” My wife and I spent two nights at Warwick Hall in mid June. From the warm welcome we received from the charming owner and her lovely dog until the time we left, the whole experience was delightful. Warwick Hall is a beautiful house set in stunning grounds next to he river Eden. Our room was large, stylish, tastefully furnished and immaculately maintained. All of the public areas within the house are comfortably furnished and enjoy spectacular views of the grounds and the river beyond. On both evenings we booked dinner and were not disappointed on either occasion. The menu offered plenty of choice and boasted a range of high quality local produce, beautifully prepared and served. Breakfast too was of an exceptional standard and included delicious honey from the Hall's own bees. All in all a thoroughly delightful, relaxing experience which we will certainly repeat in the future.

“Excellent” This is a fabulous country house in an excellent location by the river which was just lovely for our dog Hugo. I think that if you have a dog and are needing to stay in this area it would be a difficult place to beat. Due to the size of Warwick Hall the rooms are spacious and the guest lounge is a delight.. The river walk follows the river Eden and our dog loved to paddle in amongst the fish. There is plenty of space an honesty bar and the breakfast was top class. We stay in a lot of B and B”s / hotels and this gives a great balance of a formal setting but with a welcoming informal feel. I would definitely recommend Warwick Hall and will return. (I have to add we loved watching the hotel inspector in Warwick Hall whilst staying!!)

“Wonderful place with the nicest beds in the North!” Such a delightful place to stay, the welcome from Val was warm and friendly and the apartment/ room I had been allocated was absolutely wonderful. Couldn't wait to get into that bed as it just looked so very comfortable... and I wasn't wrong ! The nice things that always tick my boxes were present such as warm towels, fresh milk and ground coffee and it was lovely and warm too. Breakfast was very good and I was well looked after by Pat and her cute dog.. yes, it's a dog friend place too. I'll be going back that's for sure and would highly recommend you pay a little more than the usual chain hotel and have the experience I so very much enjoyed.

“A wonderful stop off en route to Edinburgh” We really loved our brief stay at Warwick Hall. Beautiful location. Lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the informal, friendly atmosphere. It's like staying with friends in their gorgeous country house. Very relaxed and laid back. We appreciated the variety on offer in the honesty bar and took our drinks outside to the lovely terrace overlooking the river. The breakfast was delicious and next time we'll definitely book dinner - smelled delicious. Great service overall and I'd like to single out the young waiter who served us at breakfast for his friendly efficiency and charm. We'd highly recommend Warwick Hall and will definitely be back.

“A special dog-friendly B&B” The accommodation could not be faulted from the size of the room with its idyllic view, the comfortable bed and pillows, the lovely hot shower, the range of television channels and the provisions for a cafetiere coffee. There was attention to detail at breakfast, too, which is very relaxed and served in a lovely room with a river view. A special experience that certainly delivered excellent value for money. An added bonus for a small supplement; dogs are welcome and there is a long riverside walk past the walled garden where the beehives and chickens are kept...there was fresh honeycomb on the table at breakfast and the eggs were delicious.

“Very, very nice!” Room was big and beautiful. everything was luxurious. Bathroom even more beautiful. The conservatory in typical english style. This was by far the best hotel during our trip to UK even considering a little higher price. Building located near river, very beautiful gardens around the house. We will certainly recommend this hotel to others. And we will certainly come back when we have the chance.
