Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
Most of the guests choose to eat with the hosts on their night of arrival and you may wish to really treat yourselves to the fine dining experience that awaits you at Uplands House. There is a delicious home-cooked candlelit dinner available most evenings which is complemented by a very good wine list and those who enjoy a fine bottle will be spoilt for choice. Dinner is generally eaten together in the dining room, or in the warm weather on the terrace. In the morning, guests can indulge in a tasty and satisfying Warwickshire breakfast. Start with a glass of orange juice from real fruit, squeezed by hand just before you drink it, homemade muesli or cereals, or berries from the garden with organic honey yogurt. This may be followed by a choice of eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, and mushrooms, baked beans, black pudding, and hash browns. Smoked salmon, kippers and kedgeree need to be ordered in advance. Finally, there is plenty of toast with a good selection of homemade jams and marmalades, and of course, the coffee and tea of your choice.
