Perfect, no, even better than that... Arrived for a weekend away in January with 2 discerning friends. Before we arrived, we received some wonderful tips for things to do in the area which were beautifully written and so the romance began... The cottage was well placed, very near the front and shops/eateries. It was so beautifully furnished and presented we instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed the serenity it offered. We spent a good half hour just walking about saying to each other 'and have you seen this pot/mirror/cupboard/bedlinen - it's gorgeous'. Little touches like fab coffee maker, Cornish Cider stash, bath robes, the pre-loaded ipod made it so lovely we didn't want to go out. My top tips for a Sea Swallow stay: bring enough nibbles/plonk/bread n cheese to keep you going for a few nights, enjoy lazy mornings, lovely walks, fab shops and beachcombing in the day and get back early for a bath, G&T and a read of the paper. In short, Me: 'I wonder if I could send for the children in about a week'; Val 'I'm staying'; Sid 'It's Lush'. Oh, and Fowey's not bad either.

Wonderful cottage and great location The cottage is exactly as the photographs show, very beautiful, and very comfortable and cosy. A lot of thought has gone into the cottage, lots of cosy throws, comfy cushions, and the coffee machine was a blessing for our early starts with a little baby. The travel cot, highchair and baby bath were also a real plus as with the baby and two dogs we could not have jammed more in the car! Always warm, hot water on demand, and comfy beds. And the cream tea and milk on arrival were a lovely touch - thank you. Location was perfect, you really are so perfectly positioned to explore. The weather was dreadful but we still managed some beautiful walks and a few ferry trips. Tracey provides so much useful information on things to do, it actually made us quite lazy in our own research! Have already recommended and will look to return. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Fowey is a joy indeed, and the Sea Swallow makes it even more enjoyable. The cottage really made us feel at home away from home. The owner, Tracey, has spared no effort to make it comfortable and equipped it with everything you may need. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with a great eye for detail and style. All this makes it so much more personal than the average holiday venue. Cornwall is stunningly beautiful and Fowey is in all aspects an attractive little village. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling the narrow streets, enjoying the wonderful river views, walking along the magnificent coast, and frequenting the great pubs and restaurants. Thanks to Tracey's excellent tips, our days just flew by. If we'll return to Fowey, we'll surely book the Sea Swallow again

Relaxing stay in this beautiful cottage great for a mini break Stepped into another world the cottage is so comfortable with all your comforts taken care of .. yummy scones & clotted cream on arrival, slippers, dressing gowns ... Beautifully furnished in relaxing coastal colours, ideally situated in the heart of Fowey. Lots to do, breathtaking coastal walks, yummy cafes & restaurants, boat trips and nearby the amazing Eden Project. While we were there an Art & Literature festival & secret gardens open day. Highlight of our stay was dining at the Royal Yacht Club open to non residents while the festival was on, such beautiful views of the estuary and the sailing boats. We will be back so much more to discover, thank you for a lovely stay.

Just got back from a fantastic break to celebrate my Husbands Birthday with Family at this beautiful, classy cottage. The cottage is beautifully done with top or the range kitchen utensils, lovely bedrooms and a fantastic bath, lovely for a candle lit soak! The lounge is warm and cosy perfect for a relax after a long day or for coffee after a nice meal. The location is just perfect right in the centre of Fowey with lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Right next to the church lovely to hear the bells ringing in the morning. The owner Tracey was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend to friends and have already done so and we will be back at some point.

Perfect stylish cottage in a beautiful town. This cottage is absolutely perfect, has everything you need & more, & is incredibly comfortable. The beds are lovely, the shower & bath fantastic, & everything looks amazing - so chic & stylish. I sometimes find when I'm looking for a cottage or hotel to stay in the countryside the decor can be a bit fusty & outdated, but the sea swallow couldn't be further from that! I kept wanting to take photos of everything! It's in an ideal location, opposite a beautiful old church & a stones throw from all the lovely little shops, bars & restaurants of fowey. The only downside was ever having to leave - we could have happily moved in!

Beautiful cottage We (family of 3) spent our Christmas at the Sea Swallow cottage and loved it so much so that decided to add an extra night! Tastefully decorated, clean, very comfortable and in a perfect location. Special thanks to Tracy for decorating the cottage with lovely Christmas decorations for us. There is no doubt that she runs this place professionally. We loved it and would definitely stay again.
