The Italian Villa

Nearly three weeks on from our most amazing Italian Villa Wedding, which we can't quite believe! Our feet haven't really touched the ground since then, fabulous Honeymoon in Praia D'el Rey and Lisbon in Portugal, and then back to move in to our new house. In the middle of that, we have discovered we are going to be Grandparents in January. So quite a lot to take in! Obviously needed to write to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to you and the whole team for making our day so wonderful. The whole event went like a dream from start to finish and we cannot thank you enough for your support, help and outstanding professionalism. We have never come across a group of people who are so ‘unflappable'! We can't imagine anything becoming a source of stress for you guys! The feedback we have had from so many of our guests has been fabulous – we are just so happy that even though the choices were ours, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and evening as well which is obviously what any Bride and Groom would wish for. The weather was unbelievable and we are just so happy that it allowed everyone to enjoy your beautiful venue to the full. We are impatiently waiting for the photographs and video and are so excited about getting to see them and re-live the day all over again. Dear Laura, Frankie, Nicky and team We would just like to thank you so very much for all your help during the past nine months in the lead up to and including our wedding day. From day one you were brilliant - helpful, friendly, informative and nothing was ever too much trouble. If only everything I've ever organised could run as efficiently as you do! The day itself was better than we ever could have expected - Nicky was absolutely fabulous, so calm and friendly yet so very organised! I think it was Lauren (I'm sorry if I've got the name wrong, there had been a fair amount of toasting by this point!) who took over in the evening and everything continued to run so smoothly. We have had endless comments from guests about how wonderful they thought the day was - the venue, the food, the atmosphere. Between all the guests there we've probably been to several hundred weddings so they can be a tough crowd but they were completely bowled over by it and that's thanks to you and all your hard work. It was exactly how we wanted our wedding day to be but we never dared believe it could be that good! It turns out it was better! I've included a couple of photos - I'm sure you've seen millions - but I wanted you to see how happy we look, we looked like that all day because you allowed us to have the best party we could have had with all of our dear friends. Where do I start? Natasha and I got married at The Italian Villa on Friday and are both still struggling to get over the brilliance of the whole day; a day that owes so, so much to the absolute attention to detail and personable approach of the villa. From day one, Frankie was fantastic. Communication was spot on - every single avenue covered with a smile and eloquent nature. On the day, Nicky was out of this world. She made our day and was - without doubt - the best person in the world to run it. Cool, calm and collective. People are still commenting on her absolute professionalism and brilliance - she's a superstar. The food - as we knew after our initial tastings - was the best of the best. Certainly the best we have ever experienced at a wedding. And, the venue: no words can describe it. It is stunning and - for the day - is yours. Beautiful. Just wanted to say thank you again for everyone at the Italian Villa for their help making our day perfect - even the weather! We had such a special day with our family and friends and we enjoyed every minute. Special thanks to Frankie who helped with anything we needed in the run up, even the last minute changes. Thank you for helping us create the wedding we dreamt of with our decorations, archway and lights. Our events managers Nicola and Candice had everything covered before we could even think of it - like saving the Bride some buffet food, and the Bridesmaid's even said they want them to help run their own weddings! The BBQ was delicious and the buffet with second helpings were certainly welcomed by the guests as well as access to the gardens! Thank you all for making it a truly unforgettable day for us. All of our guests have commented on how well organised the day was, how fantastic the food was and how accommodating you all were. Just wanted to thank everyone at the Italian Villa for a perfect wedding. From the start, Laura organised everything and put us at ease that everything would go to plan. A special thanks to Nicki, the Events Manager, for organising the smooth running of the day. Not forgetting the caterers, who provided spectacular food that everyone complimented.
