My wife and I stayed at your wonderful hotel for 3 days last week. The is hotel is beautifully situated, with welcoming staff, beautiful rooms, wonderful food, in particular the venison which was the best ever and an altogether lovely ambience. The staff are all very helpful and attentive and the whiskies,Wow!! We truly loved our stay and took in lots of walks nearby, at Gairloch and even over to Inverewe gardens. A truly wonderful and relaxing break. We also visited the B24 crash site which was very poignant and atmospheric. We will hoprfully return to this wonderful hotel. Thank you so much. John and Maureen Blake. We love Wester Ross.

Dinner at Shieldaig Lodge is a must - reasonably priced and sourced locally whenever possible. Venison, cod, guinea fowl, the list goes on. Always cooked and presented perfectly. Just last night I had the most wonderful seafood starter followed by venison. Thinking about it makes me glad we're already booked to return in April. Equally impressive is the breakfast, a wide choice of pastries, cereals and fruits in addition to the incredible full Scottish cooked offering. Obviously the cooked is the highlight of the lot!

We ate dinner every evening - Christmas day was a late lunch and a buffet in the evening which was a great idea. The food was very good with a great local produce content. Desserts were amazing. Breakfasts were excellent with a great choice of hot and cold. The bar offers a great range of whisky and gin - and a warming open fire. The lounge was warm and welcoming with an open log fire and a good range of seating and here we had afternoon tea - pies, cakes, meringues..... very good indeed.

A warm welcome from manager Ismet to a traditional shooting lodge type hotel with tasteful decor and original features and open fires in the public rooms. Amazing selection of whiskies and gins in the bar. Spacious bedroom with view across the sea. Professionally presented food with genuine local produce particularly the smoked salmon. Friendly staff with good local knowledge.

Stayed for two nights on a short winter break. Hotel is tastefully decorated and was very comfortable with log fires and a relaxing lounge. The bar also had some interesting whiskies and gins!! Food was first class and staff were both friendly and efficient. Very enjoyable and would definitely recommend.

Great regional menu prepared by an accomplished chef. Scottish breakfasts are interesting and well prepared. Dinners are interesting and reflect the region with game dishes, contemporary fare and gourmet flair.

We stopped for some afternoon tea as we were passing and it was definitely worth it. We were made feel extremely welcome and the tea with shortbread hit the spot. Well worth the stop.
