Guests are made to feel very welcome, with tea or coffee and home made cake on arrival, and plenty of leaflets and maps of the local area to help maximise the enjoyment of their stay. The two bedrooms rooms are lovely with a fresh and light feel, and sparkling en-suite bathrooms. While Sheepfold has only been open since Spring 2018, it has earned a wealth of top class reviews in this short time.

Sheepfold has a super king or twin double room, and a king double room, each with en suite facilities. Furnishings and flooring are of a very high standard, and are contemporary, fresh and light, and the walls have restful original artwork. Each bedroom has tea and coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV. Guests can also make drinks at any time in the guest sitting room, where fresh milk is available. There is a terrace and garden, and guests can also play table tennis.

Delicious freshly cooked breakfast dishes include a full vegetarian cooked breakfast (with home made sausages), smoked salmon or smoked trout with scrambled eggs, avocado on toast with roast tomatoes, and smoothie bowls. The owner makes her own granola and muesli. Suppers can be found at three lovely local inns in the village itself, or further afield - the owner is delighted to recommend.
