Other noted residents include Elizabeth Billington the opera singer of her day, E.F Benson of Mapp & Lucia provenance, Miss Mary Hilda Greaves the aunt of Portmeirion founder and architect "extraordinaire" Sir Clough Williams-Ellis - all to name but a few.

On offer are 3 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, all with period features and named after some of the previous residents: The William Madocks Bedroom, Shelley's Theatre and Miss Hilda's Bedroom . All rooms come complete with an array of creature comforts.Lavishly appointed en-suite bathrooms with slate underfloor heating complete the picture. Breakfast is served each morning in the Dining Room with stunning views overlooking the Glaslyn Estuary. Whilst in the evening, situated in the village, we recommend the chic, intimate, cosy contemporary feel of award winning restaurant Y Sgwar. Miss Hilda's Edwardian Cream Tea is served in the Drawing room or on the Veranda during the summer months between 3pm to 4:30pm for a small charge.
