Absolutely amazing weekend! From the moment my partner and I arrived we were welcomed by our host for the weekend, Rose, who throughout attended to our every need. After a brief unpacking we headed off to the local for food and drink and having abandoned the car in the car park that night (with the landlords consent!), the following morning we walked to the pub with directions from Rose to collect the car. A particular highlight on Saturday morning was the breakfast cooked individually and upon request by Rose using very high quality products and to a high standard (my partner and I particularly enjoyed the oatcakes and granola to the extent that they have been added to this weeks shopping list!). Later that day my partner had a Reiki treatment from Rose to de-stress and it did the trick and relaxed her to the point of sleeping despite her initial skepticism! After the afternoon nap we went into nearby Congelton before returning to sit in front of the log fire to completely relax. Again, the morning after, we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast before checking out and ending our perfect weekend. I cannot recommend this place highly enough; the accommodation is perfect and immaculate, the location convenient, the staff amazing and for value for money it is unrivalled. I strongly suspect we'll be back very soon.

Accommodation is excellent - consists of a large bedroom, large sitting room, large bathroom with bath and power shower and a garden room, all furnished and decorated to a high standard. The view from the garden room is fabulous! Rose is a great host and serves an excellent breakfast. A peaceful, relaxing location.

The setting, the accommodation and the welcome from the owners make this the perfect place to relax and unwind. Add to this superb breakfast and the treatments offered by Rose (I enjoyed an aromatherapy massage which was simply wonderful) makes it idyllic. Cannot wait to return in February, already booked.

What a perfect country retreat! Sitting in your own private garden room, looking out over the beautiful rolling hills, peace and quiet at its best! Enjoy a relaxing aromatherapy massage, a soak in the gorgeous bath, light the fire and chill! A fantastic 6* B & B. Thank you.

Back for our 2nd visit and we can't recommend it enough. Very high standard & spacious accommodation. Rose & family give a very warm, friendly welcome. The perfect place to relax and unwind with reiki, reflexology and aromatherapy on offer too!

Absolute perfection. and a slice of heaven. Superb and faultless service, Rose is the perfect host. The retreat, views, service and breakfast is outstanding. A log fire was burning on arrival and instantly felt at home. Will definitely be back.
