Weekend visit I usually don't leave reviews but we enjoyed our wee get away so much it would be a shame not to share! We stayed in one of the hotel rooms which seem to have been refurbished recently - lovely, clean and spacious. Didn't make it to the leisure centre but we enjoyed a walk around the resort. The ducks, chickens and wildlife are a quirk that you don't get many places. We had dinner in the restaurant and I cannot fault any part of it. The girl serving us was absolutely lovely and really went the extra mile to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves, you could see she was run off her feet but this did not affect how well she dealt with everything (sorry I can't remember her name but she mentioned only working weekends). The food was absolutely gorgeous, I had a seasonal chicken special and my boyfriend had a steak - the best one he had had in a while! The management are clearly doing a great job keeping everything running smoothly on a busy night in the restaurant. The only negative point would be the pet policy as I hate leaving our spaniel behind when we go away anywhere but can understand it might not be possible because of the ducks etc.

An idyllic country retreat ! For a few years now my family have taken a lodge at Duchally . It is a quiet resort nestling in the hills above Auchterarder . The estate is made up of a hotel with bar restaurant and good quality leisure facilities / spa . In the well managed grounds there are a number of two and three bedroomed lodges , with blacony or patio . The estate is run to a good standard and lodges are modern and well equipped . Staff are friendly and very attentive , There is a quiet and relaxed atmosphere and you can be assured of a great customer experience . It is an ideal base for discovering the beautiful rolling hills of Perthshire and exploring the wider Highlands . The world famous Gleneagles resort sits no more than 2 miles away . Expert help is always on hand from reception with planning your daily trips .At night you return to the hotel's locally renowned restaurant with a great menu and wine list , or sample a nightcap in the Whisky Bar . In summary a great location for a weekend away , or longer

Stunning Minimoon After a very disappointing night away at a Stirling hotel, we booked the Duchally on Saturday night for a stay the next evening. We had the Deluxe Double room with balcony and were totally delighted. Service was amazing from the moment we arrived, with Reception congratulating us on our wedding, walking us to our room and a fruit platter of chocolate covered strawberries arriving moments later. The whisky bar was cosy and had lots of gin on offer! In the restaurant we were given a really nice table and the food was delicious!! Couldn't fault the hotel at all, staff were lovely, location was fabulous. So glad we decided to try our minimoon a second time, would thoroughly recommend. Cant wait to come back .

Weekend stay Stayed in the hotel at this estate. The room(4) was large, well equipped with an overbath shower. Plenty of hot water, though the shower wasn't over powerful. The wifi was very good, there was a router in the room! We ate in the bar & the restaurant, both serve the same menu. The cullen skink was exceptional. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. All the staff are very friendly & helpful and make your stay so enjoyable. The grounds are well maintained & the whole estate is peaceful!

Receptionist very friendly on arrival & took us to our room on first floor. Room is a good size with a very nice bathroom & nice view. Whisky bar - nice & cosy with live music on Saturday. Restuarants nice for dinner & breakfast very tasty. Used spa - also good. Grounds nice for a walk & beautifully lit up at night. There on 1 Dec - I would have liked a Christmas tree but that's just me ( I love Christmas)

Overnight stay Great place to stay. Good food, nice staff, good value clean tidy and very accessible. We had dinner B&B and all very good. We had to leave early 0730 and the breakfast team were fantastic to get us away on time after a great feed with no warning. Great venue to play Gleneagles. Thanks all

AC

Nice stay Very quiet and peaceful resort, rooms were immaculate and staff were very friendly. Good value for money, breakfast was nice and plenty of choice. We will be back in the near future maybe stay in the lodges next time.

LC

Perfect accommodations in a perfect setting! We loved seeing the ducks around and how well that they're cared for. It was a bit of a drive to sight see, but it was worth it to stay in such a lovely setting.
