Olde barn Gardens is renowned for it's wonderful summer flower displays and its quaint enclosed garden ideal for sitting in the love shack late into the evenings, or up on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine over looking the fantastic view of the Devon countryside, planning the next days activities, perhaps a visit to Dartmouth just an hours drive away ,or maybe taking a trip on the steam train from Paignton to Dartmouth. Perhaps a trip to Dartmoor may be more your fancy, to see the famous Dartmoor prison or climb Haytor rock to enjoy to wonderful views. All the guests are given a welcome tea of Linda's Famous homemade cakes and cookies, a bowl of fruit.
What is the capacity for Dawlish Holiday Cottage?
Olde barn Gardens sleeps up to 6 people plus a cot in 3 double sized bedrooms, the master bedroom benefiting from an ensuite shower room, and enjoying those lovely views. There is also a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath serving the 2 other bedrooms. Downstairs is the lounge, dining room a recently modernised Kitchen, garden room and utility and toilet.
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Dawlish area?
Nearby is the historic home of the Earl of Devon which is open to the public, and which hosts several different events during the year. With its farm shop and Tearooms for that quick stop over. Exeter the capital city of Devon has a beautiful Cathedral and many historic buildings, even the smallest street in the world next to Exeter's Guildhall, There is the underground passages which are open to the public and even the Tudor house which was moved in the 1960's in the old west quarter of Exeter. There are now miles of safe cycleways all around the area for those more energetic holidaymakers.
