Overview

Burrow Farm Gardens is a lushly landscaped 13 acre garden that will cater to both the planter and those looking for a calming stroll around a peaceful garden with wide views. Swooping lawns lead down to the lake between the island beds of rare shrubs and herbaceous plants. The forest garden, in a Roman clay pit with fine trees, ponds and a bog garden, mixes primulas, iris and other water lovers with the many wild flowers that bloom there.

What can guests enjoy at Burrow Farm Gardens?

The Millennium Garden includes ponds, waterfalls and a formal rill that leads the eye to the beautiful valley and hills beyond, with mixed borders making wonderful colour schemes. The Grasses Garden features tall wavy grass banks and late summer perennials that give this garden something unique all year round.

A very peaceful location. Stunning Views. Beautiful and interesting planting with a variety of different plants living together eg. outstanding grasses and Michaelmas daisies. Mustn't forget the delicious cream teas and cakes, the friendly robin and lovely people

Well signposted. Good access and car parking. Honesty box for entrance. Beautifully themed gardens within a well landscaped 10 acres. Delightful plants. Many old fashioned favourites so informally planned. Generous homemade refreshments.

This down to earth, to us, 'secret jewel' is beautiful. Lots of very fine arrangements of plants, flowers, shrubs and trees in such a way, it makes us feel like 'Alice in Wonderland'. You notice the respect for plants, our compliments!!

It is quiet and well placed. There is a huge variety of mature trees which are beautiful in many variations of greens. The views and scenery are stunning and you can buy quality plants or gifts. Tea was excellent.

I love this garden as it is so creative and wonderfully peaceful. It also serves one of the best cream teas around!
