Overview

One of the most beautiful hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is concealed in a peaceful corner of the town of Buckland. Set in ten acres of land of idyllic gardens featuring a stream, rose beds and woodland, the beautiful manor house is unmarked by the passing of time.

What makes a stay at Buckland Manor unique?

Overflowing with history, Buckland Manor has been home to many noble families since its origins in the 13th century. Fine antiques and rich fabrics sit alongside beautiful artwork dedicated to the house by the last private owners, and roaring log fires in the lounges create a peaceful and welcoming countryside retreat. Overlooking the Vale of Evesham, Buckland Manor's ten acres of beautiful gardens are a true hidden gem, nestled amongst woodland leading into the surrounding countryside.

What are the rooms and facilities on offer at Buckland Manor?

Each of the hotel's 15 guest rooms are all individual in design and style. Naturally, all come with crisp white linen, plumped up pillows and Vispring beds to guarantee that perfect night's slumber. Original features including leaded windows and beamed ceilings are combined with luxurious fabrics, generous bathrooms and breathtaking views of the hotel's grounds. Guests are greeted with homemade biscuits and mineral water, L'Occitane skincare and bath lotions, slippers and fluffy bathrobes in their room.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Broadway area?

Buckland Manor is only a few minutes from the much-loved town of Broadway. The image of Broadway today remains as it has done for centuries; a charismatic spectacle of rolling wolds, overlooking a gathering of ancient honey-coloured limestone period buildings with an eclectic variety of shops. The hotel is well placed to discover the wider regions of the Cotswolds, Oxford's dreaming spires and the home of Shakespeare, Stratford upon Avon.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

From a kitchen that has the privilege of having the 'market garden of England' - the Vale of Evesham - on its doorstep, as well as a herb garden in the grounds, the food at Buckland Manor represents a love of fresh, seasonal and local produce. The team of talented chefs work tirelessly to create exceptional menus that are English at their core and stay true to location, whilst remaining innovative and modern. If guests wish to venture into Broadway, there is a choice restaurants, traditional village pubs, tearooms and bars.
