The Tidmarsh has a modern interior, with the highest quality furniture and fittings, including underfloor heating, leather seating, 1200 thread count bed linen, free WiFi, USB charging points, granite work surfaces, and plentiful high quality crockery and utensils, including a Nespresso coffee machine, blender and rice cooker.
Its location cannot be bettered. It's one of just seven apartments at the Heritage side of the Castle Quarter, so it's quiet, but within walking distance of all city centre amenities, such as the new Westgate shopping outlet, University buildings, Said Business School, theatres and restaurants.

The bedroom has one double bed, but it is possible to put a blow-up mattress in the living area for a child for a short stay.
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Oxford area?
Everything in Oxford city centre is within walking distance, including all University buildings, museums, shops, theatres and restaurants. Historic sites include the Ashmolean, Pitt Rivers and Natural History Museums, Oxford Castle and prison, Bodleian Library, Sheldonian Theatre, St Mary the Virgin Church and Christ Church.
The University Parks, Christ Church Meadow and Botanic Gardens are a short walk from the apartment, as is the river for punting. The visitor information centre organises many differing tours in the city centre, and day trips outside the city are also available, such as to visit Blenheim Palace.
For day trips out of Oxford, the train station is a ten minute walk, and trains reach London in an hour or Bicester Village in 15 minutes.
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
All city centre amenities are on the doorstep and within walking distance, from historic pubs like the Turf Tavern, and Eagle & Child to tea at the Macdonald Randolph Hotel, and everything in between. Quod, The Old Parsonage Hotel, Rickety Press and Browns are all recommended.
The new Westgate shopping centre has a host of restaurants & cafés on its top floor, with outside dining, all overlooking the city's spires. The Ashmolean Museum's restaurant also has a rooftop terrace with views.

The Oxford Castle Quarter renovation was completed in 2006 and opened by HM The Queen.
The seven apartments at the Heritage side of the Castle were renovated to the highest of standards and are accessed by a gated entrance with security video phone entry.
