Every year, they remember the conclusive snapshots of 1066 in a large reenactment, hung on the very spot where the first fight was battled. Occurring every year toward the end of the week nearest to 14 October, the commemoration of the fight, the occasion pulls in scores of guests and reenactors from all over England and Europe. With family exercises in abundance, and diversion from falconry presentations to battle exhibitions, it's an epic celebration weekend for all ages.
