The seaside town of Rhyl in north east Wales is a popular spot for family holidays, with a lovely sandy beach with donkey rides and a land train along the promenade. There are also plenty of sports facilities including swimming, sailing, windsurfing and sea fishing from the local harbour, plus a wide selection of places to eat and drink.
