Places to visit in or near Montgomery

Montgomery is one of the most attractive small towns in Wales,situated in the Welsh Marches. It has several pubs, cafes and restaurants. Places of interest include the ruined castle overlooking the town which was built in the 1200's. By climbing town hill you will see breathtaking views over the countryside.There is good walking nearby along Offa's Dyke a footpath which runs from the Severn Estuary to North Wales.
