Places to visit in or near Helensburgh

The town of Helensburgh is best approached from Loch Lomondside, with some spectacular views looking down over wooded peninsulars. To the south the mountain peaks of the Isle of Arran dominate the skyline. Off-shore you can see yachts, dingies, naval vessels and perhaps a luxury cruise liner. A good selection of shops both general and specialist can be found along with restaurants, coffee shops and hotels.
