Located in the Irish Sea is the Isle of Man between Great Britain and Ireland. It is well known for its TT motor bike races. The main town in the north is Ramsey and is one of the sunniest spots on the island. The capital town is Douglas on the east coast, a popular place with tourists. It has an array of shops, restaurants and hotels. In the summer months a horse drawn tram operates along the sea front. The island has its own parliament and under law is not part of the UK. It also has its own currency.
