The Scottish village of Tighnabruaich is on the Cowal peninsula in Argyll and has lovely views of Arran, Bute and the Ayshire Coast. It is a popular area for many water sports, including sailing, canoeing and kayaking. It is a good area for walking and climbing the hills. The Waverly Paddle steamer which provides trips around the coast stops here twice a week.
