What can I say. This is a beautiful idyllic place to rewind and relax. The accommodation is first class with all the self catering amenities required. Beds are comfortable and even though we visited in this lovely heat wave the rooms are not too hot. The spa is petit but wonderful with fantastic treatments and a great area to relax, steam and swim in. The outside area is beautifully kept and clean. There are lovely walks nearby and a brilliant pub up the road that serves fantastic food. Sarah (the owner) could not have been lovelier and more welcoming. We hope to be back again sometime

Just got back from a lovely weekend here for my beloveds 30th birthday. He had been keen to visit the exmoor darkzone for a while so I decided to take him for his birthday. The spa facilities are small but exactly what we needed and the treatments were wonderful. The location is what really sold this place to me, surrounded on all sides by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK, it really is lovely. The local pub and shop are only a 5 minute walk and lynton and Lynmouth are 20 mins by car and definitely worth a visit!

What a lovely place to spend a weekend. Sarah the hostess was very welcoming, the cottage was beautiful and had lots of little extra touches to make it feel very cosy and homely. The spa was lovely, really peaceful and relaxing. I had a half hour back massage which was blissful. Local pub The Black Venus is only 5 minutes up the road and does amazing food. Great location for visiting Ilfracombe, Combe Martin and Exmoor. All in all a perfect weekend to recharge our batteries, we will definitely be back.

Including the best weather which helps! We found Sarah an amazing host and offered lovely treatments. We couldn't recommend this place enough for a relaxing romantic weekend away.

A wonderful, relaxing and welcoming place to stay. Quiet and peaceful and a perfect setting. The treatments were first class and the Spa was beautiful. We really can't fault it and have already booked a return visit. In short, this was absolutely perfect for us. We highly recommend.

Had a lovely time here a while back. Lovely massage and facial. Great local pub serving wonderful food. All in all a perfect stay. Would definitely go again for a mini break.
