The South Hams are the most remarkable are of beauty in England and it could be you in the heart of it all. The character and charm of the local villages and the pleasant shops and cafés used for visitors and local people are abounding. You 're going to come across beaches to die for minutes away from your self-catering log cabin in Devon. Mothercombe Beach was used as a location to Jane Austen 's Sense and Sensibility, just five minutes away from the cabin. There are miles and miles of country trails at your door along the Erme River, and the stunning south-western coastline provides spectacular scenery.
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
The Inns and restaurants in the region are as sophisticated and accomplished as any you'd find in London - Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Modbury, Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo, and of course, right on your doorstep, Yealmpton - in each place you will find award winning pubs and restaurants, with sea views and river views. In the summer months you can dine outside and in, but all offer the very best of the local produce available. For the gourmet, food could not be fresher or more diverse - locally grown chillies and spices are easily available. There's fresh fish caught daily and the dairy products are so fresh - eggs are still warm sometimes! Whether you want pheasant or quail, sea bass or John Dory, free range home cured bacon or Devon clotted cream, it's all here, and just minutes away from the cabin.

This private patch of bucolic Devon includes 1 acre of lawn overlooking the fields and stables where guests can relax in the sunshine. Guests can follow a lane through leafy woodlands that lead you into the local village of Yealmpton (bring wellies!). The Cabin even has an observatory should you want to book an appointment to watch the stars with the local astronomy expert. A private courtyard complete with mood lighting and your own 4 seater hot tub awaits, including a separate underfloor heated luxury shower room thats literally a stride across the private courtyard from the main bedroom or front door - maximising space inside the cabin.
