Once the home farm to Sibton Park and without doubt the oldest building on the estate, the farmhouse has been faithfully restored and extended using Suffolk materials to create an unusual family homestead. As with all Wilderness properties, the farmhouse is only available on an exclusive-use basis making it the ideal venue for fine parties, special family celebrations and corporate shin-digs. The friendly, knowledgeable and discreet staff members are on hand to ensure an enjoyable and memorable stay.
What is the capacity for The Farmhouse?
There are six en suite bedrooms (including two on the ground floor) each with king-size Hypnos beds and stunning views. The original 17th-century leaded lights and later Georgian windows have been reinstated affording wonderful views across the park to the lake and wider estate. Each of the six bedrooms has its own en-suite wet room with high-quality fittings, powerful showers and all include soft robes and luxury toiletries.

Use the bird watching hides to cover you through any weather, or walk along the nature trail to explore the beautiful forest and wetlands. Take the farm trail to see Jimmy's famous rare breed pigs along with sheep, cows, geese, goats and donkeys. In the stunning Grade I listed gardens in Helmingham Hall you will find harmony and tranquility for keen gardeners. Enjoy the sights and smells of the beautiful trees, the elegant manicured hedges and borders, walk around the garden and bask in the heady scents of the rose garden.

The Garden of Suffolk has many gastro pubs, restaurants, farm shops and artisans. Nearby, Mains of Yoxford is a family-run restaurant offering several dishes for a relaxed dining weekend.
