Upton Grange Country Estate

A spontaneous few days away to find a bit of peace and tranquility, I stumbled upon this amazing gem. The cottages are unbelievable and have a feeling of warmth and a little class. The family run business, is clearly efficient in the travellers world and are truly professional but also amicable and very helpful. My needs were met perfectly and time taken to make my friend and I feel welcome. Although this is self catering there was gorgeous welcome gift, of teas and ground coffee and shortbreads, and a fabulous apple cake. The open fire was there for us to use, with ample fire wood, it was so wonderful we decided to stay in. The living area has books and games in the drawers and family board games,, a dining area with the use of fine porcelain. Ratty's retreat cottage could be occupied by a family of four/ five, with gorgeous gardens to use and coastal walks boasting near by. I would stay for a few months if I could. Thank you

Absolutely lovely, on arrival we were shown to our cottage, Owl,s Roost, we certainly were not disappointed, a real home from home, cosy, very clean, and a lot bigger than we thought it would it be, the welcome hamper was superb, highly recommend anyone to stay here, and the views around are just stunning.
