Visit the colourful sands of Alum Bay or the annual sailing regatta at Cowes on the nearby Isle of Wight for a day trip by ferry or hovercraft. The New Forest is only a short train ride away, where you can enjoy traditional British seasides and the babbling brooks of Rhinefield Ornamental Drive.
