The Old Stables is a 5 star B&B which has now been turned into three high-quality self-catering rooms with light Scandinavian-style interiors, and affordable prices. Only one minute walk from the sea front and trails leading to the Exmoor National Park, yet only a five minute level walk from the main street of Minehead with its shops, restaurants, cafés, theatre and the historic steam trains, you can't beat this location. Rooms One and Three are large self-catered rooms, sleeping up to four people (one king sized double, and one large sofa bed), and includes an en-suite shower and toilet. Both rooms have Laura Ashley bedroom suites with a king size double bed with luxurious 1500 pocket sprung mattress, goose down pillows and duvets (non-allergenic bedding available upon request), 100% cotton sheets and soft satin striped duvet covers. The rooms also include a leather sofa bed, spacious wardrobe with a safe for valuables, 32' flat screen TV with DVD player, freeview channels / radio stations, complimentary WIFI connection, alarm clock, local travel books, magazines and information on the area. The rooms have a kitchenette with an electric oven, hob with 2 rings, microwave, silent minifridge, sink, toaster, electric kettle, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, kitchen towels and a four-seater dining table. Spacious, modern en-suite shower / toilet equipped with heated towel rail. Room Two includes a separate shower/toilet rooms four metres away from the room across a quiet landing, and sleeps 1-2 people with partial sea views of the Bristol Channel. The room is furnished to a high-standard with a combination of Laura Ashley fabrics and Scandinavian designs, including light carpets and modern amenities.
