Perhaps best known as walking country, the Peak District National Park offers a spectacular variety of scenery and routes to be explored – from steep sided limestone dales to the dramatic high moorlands. There is something for everyone – individuals, families and groups – whether you want a challenging hike or a short stroll. Here at Manor House Farm Cottages you can walk directly from the door along the public footpath on the land which leads you directly down to Deepdale. Monsal Head is also a good walk from site with many lovely pubs and tea rooms en route.
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
The village pub serves traditional pub food and is just a 5 minute walk away. There are many excellent pubs in the area, and some make a great destination for days hike from the door. Please ask for recommendations.
