Overview

Having successfully rescued the Baiting House at Upper Sapey from decades of neglect and turned it into a destination foodie pub and inn, it was only a matter of time until owner Andrew Cornthwaite looked for a new project. He didn't have to look far - a 3 acre meadow to the side of the Baiting House, which had been used to graze sheep. It's now the home of the Lodges at the Baiting House, a collection of five contemporary country cabins. These aren't your ordinary holiday lodges - most have private hot tubs and they all have Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy towels, power showers, luxury toiletries, WiFi as well as full kitchens, bathrooms and separate sitting room. Guests can enjoy a barbecue on their private terrace or wander over to enjoy the award-winning food at the Baiting House itself. All Lodges are dog friendly, and there's loads to do for children. Groups looking for a private retreat can book all 5 Lodges, close the gate and enjoy their own private estate.
