What can guests enjoy when staying in the St Ives area?
The apartment is set 5 minutes walk (down) and 10 minutes (up) above Porthminster Beach or the town centre, and is a wonderful, quiet and relaxing spot to escape to, leaving the hustle and bustle of lively St Ives behind, yet within such easy reach of everything. The area has so much to offer, with abundant restaurants and cafes and the SW Coast Path very accessible. The St Ives light, which has been such a draw through the years for artists, is truly beautiful whatever the season. Home to Tate St Ives and numerous galleries, there is plenty to see within a short walk. The apartment is only a short walk or taxi drive from the station, and there is a fine local bus service particularly in summer, so holidays by rail without a car are perfectly possible (the owner never has a car in St Ives, and has not even hired a car as there is so much to see very locally!)
