There is something wonderfully traditional and calming about seaside breaks in Norfolk and Pear Tree Cottages have two self-catering properties in perhaps some of the prettiest countryside in the county.
What is the capacity for Pear Tree Cottages?
The first of the cottages is PearTree Cottage, which sleeps up to six guests in a recently refurbished stylish accommodation. The second cottage, Walnut Cottage also sleeps up to six guests. It has a large enclosed garden, perfect if you wish to bring along one well-behaved dog.
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Brancaster Staithe area?
The first, detached Pear Tree Cottage, sits in Brancaster Staithe, home of the juiciest mussels for miles, and has just delightful views across the salt marshes to the harbour and the sea. It's a great rural bolthole for parties looking for stunning countryside walks, great traditional pubs and wonderful seafood. The other property, Walnut Cottage, is a farm cottage on the outskirts of Burnham Market ideally placed for strolling along wide empty beaches and only a short stroll from some excellent restaurants in a real village atmosphere.
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
If guests wish to venture out to find somewhere to dine there are a number of wonderful pubs to choose from. The Duck Inn Stanhoe is just two minutes away by car or a 15-minute leisurely walk, where you will find beautiful, locally sourced food with a pretty seated garden and garden room or choose the nearby Jolly Farmer - a lovely traditional pub serving tasty home-cooked food. Your hosts will be more than happy to recommend or advice as where might be suitable for you with kiddies, dogs, family celebrations or romantic venues.
Other Information
The Coastal Hopper Bus runs regularly (about every 20 mins) through the day from Burnham Market along the coast to Cromer, stopping at all the coastal villages.
