What can we say other than amazing. The best cottage we’ve ever stayed in.
Michael and Linda were so welcoming. Facilities are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. All the little details were thought of.
The cake and cookies were to die for.
The views from the master bedroom were out of this world.
The area is also superb. So much to see and do.
We will definitely be back.
The Rooke family x.

What a Wonderful Cottage.
We received such a warm welcome
from Linda and Michael, complete with cake, and cookies. The cottage is immaculately clean, and well equipped with everything you could possibly need.
The master bedroom is outstanding with it's beautiful views, and the balcony is the prefect place to sit, and watch the sun come up in the morning, and set in the evening.
The garden is stunning, and the undercover eating area is the perfect place to sit, and relax, and have a bbq. Angie Steve & family

Wow! What a find at the last minute, so lucky they had a slot considering how far ahead it is booked up, a sure sign the place is good in my opinion. There are ducklings in Michael and Linda's garden next door, who run this cottage and they didn't mind us coming to have a look! There was an amazing cake waiting for us and when we got to the master bedroom we considered claiming squatters rights and never leaving! The views were just amazing. The weather was so very kind to us too, so we made the most of relaxing in the garden. You will not be disappointed if you stay here, there is a modern kitchen and yet the lounge has a lovely old world cottage feel about it. There is plenty of parking too. Well worth the money and we definitely be coming here again!

A little bit of heaven! We found a little bit of heaven tucked in the beautiful countryside near Dawlish. Arrived to a beautiful cottage where laid out in the dining room was a high tea. Fresh homemade cake, special little buns for the children, and homemade biscuits! A bowl of fresh fruit in the gorgeous conservatory, where we spent a lot of time chilling! Upstairs there was a fight for the main bedroom, my husband telling his Mum that it was being claimed his. He felt guilty the next morning awakening to the stunning views from the balcony, then stepped into the ensuite shower and declared, this is heaven!!! A pummelling jet shower to awaken you, then relaxing in the armchairs in the bedroom watching the sunrise. Yes, it was heaven. It's the little things that matter on holiday, the spotlessly clean cottage, a slow cooker, ideal for leaving gammon cooking, enough pots and pans to roast a Sunday lunch, complete with Yorkshire pudding tin! Decent sharp knives, not any previous holidays have I ever found this. Linda and Michael go above and beyond, were fantastic in welcoming the children, providing cots sides for the beds, a nightlight, high chair, melamine children's sets. We were made to feel so very welcome after a long and stressful journey there complete with hospital stay. I'm so glad we found you and hope we can stay again, though book well in advance as our little bit of heaven has been found by others! Thank you both for such a wonderful week.

Stunning, Spactacular and Impressive. If there is anywhere better in this area I have been unable to find it and I have been visiting Dawlish for more than 35 years. This cottage is superb in every respect, with every home comfort you could ask for, in fact I'd wager it has more than most peoples own homes. Your hosts Michael & Linda are nothing short of sublime in that nothing is to much to ask and they offer the kind of customer service you could be forgiven for thinking had long since disappeared. Michael & Linda think of things that just make you say quietly to yourself WOW! Think the London Savoy or even the Ritz it's as good as that. The cottage is sensational inside and out. Others have spoken about biscuits & cakes on arrival etcetera so we'll leave that alone and simply say to you: If you can stay at this cottage then do, you will NOT regret doing so. Our first visit will definitely not be our last. Thank you Michael & Linda for your welcome, generosity of spirit, and genuine ability to make guests feel as if they have known you for many years. Oh! for those who need to know: There are numerous very good eateries within close reach, many places to visit and things to do, or the cottage serves as a blinding place to simply relax and recharge the batteries. We look forward to staying with you again.

Alan, Sylvia and Emily, 6/11/2015.

Linda and Michael greeted us on our arrival and showed us around the property. Linda contacted us before to ask what kind of milk we preferred! She also had baked lemon cake and biscuits which went down very well with our foster daughter. The property was spotless and the view from the main bedroom is stunning. This property is the best we have ever stayed in and it was so relaxing. We look forward to staying here again.

Lovely cottage. I went with my husband, daughter and parents, plenty of room not to be on top of one another.
Fabulous views from master bedroom. Make sure first to arrive to 'bag' that room!!
Plenty of information in cottage for things to do in area and places to eat. Hosts Linda and Michael are only next door and happy to help with anything. They also make a fabulous welcome cake and cookies!!

what a lovely find this was, after many years visiting Dawlish Warren we had driven past this cottage numerous times.
we booked to stay here and the owners, Linda and Michael were easy to contact and replied to any queries fast.

we were greeted by them when we arrived and Linda had made some scrummy cookies and a fantastic cake which was delicious.
After showing us around we were left to unpack and enjoy our holiday, in the knowledge that if we needed anything they were not far away.

the cottage was immaculately clean and had a lovely charm to it, also the views from the master bedroom were AMAZING!!.

THANK YOU for a lovely holiday Linda and Michael.
