Overview

Loch Lomond Waterfront Luxury Lodges are set in the heart of the Loch Lomond National Park, on the east side of the Loch. They're set in private grounds, with views over the water and surrounded by woodland and nature reserves. Ideally situated for walking and sightseeing, and within walking distance to a gastro-pub and other amenities.

What makes a stay at Loch Lomond Waterfront Luxury Lodges unique?

The lodges all have their own private hot tub that is situated on the patio, with views towards the water. The grounds extend down to the foreshore, where canoes, kayaks and small boats can be launched. Pet-friendly accommodation is available and there are plenty of good dog walking areas. It's an excellent location for peace and quiet, set apart from the busy highland village that is just a short walk away.

What is the capacity for Loch Lomond Waterfront Luxury Lodges?

Each lodge or chalet has two en-suite bedrooms that can either have double super king sizes beds or twin beds. In addition, there is a double sofa bed in the living area, and a separate bathroom that contains a steam/shower. Each lodge can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. Two dogs are allowed in some lodges.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Balmaha area?

The village of Balmaha is a 5 minute walk and offers a grocery store, visitor centre, boat yard and gastro-pub. Boat trips are available from the Pier and kayaks can be hired also. The Boatyard offers ferry trips to the Island of Inchailloch nature reserve. The gastro-pub brews its own beer and the coffee shop makes ice-cream.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

The lodges are equipped for self-catering and the kitchens are stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and starter milk, with a packet of local shortbread for your first cup of tea. It's within walking distance to the Oak Tree Inn for local dining, or it's a 3 mile drive to the village of Drymen, where there is a wider choice, with two hotels and two pubs.
