Khina Cottage at North Foreland Lighthouse

Self Catering

Khina is one of two holiday cottages available at the lighthouse, which is located on a chalk headland above the enchanting and unspoiled seaside town of Broadstairs on Kent's far eastern coast. Both cottages are ideal for children, as they are surrounded by spacious lawned grounds and are set well away from cliffs. The holiday cottages have access to a one-acre lawned garden and patio with plenty of seating.

What is the capacity for Khina Cottage at North Foreland Lighthouse?

Khina can accommodate up to four guests, however, it is suitable for a maximum of three adults. The cottage also welcomes up to two well-behaved, supervised dogs (small additional charge), however, please be aware this site is not enclosed and has direct access to a road.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Broadstairs area?

Visit Joss Bay, which has a beautiful sandy beach just a few minutes' walk from the property.  The Captain Digby Inn is a 10-minute walk away and serves delicious food. Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times. Guests are reminded they are renting a heritage building, therefore certain features such as steps, stairs and floor levels may not comply with that of a modern building. As such, please be advised to acquaint yourselves with the premises on arrival and exercise caution accordingly. Access roads to the lighthouse site are narrow with limited passing places and, dependent on the season and site, there is the possibility of overhanging vegetation due to cutting restrictions during bird breeding seasons or other environmental reasons.
