Hideaway Lodges offer an eco-friendly slice of Scottish hygge, in an idyllic corner of Mull. On arrival, guests receive a warm island welcome from the owners. Guests can sample some homemade shortbread whilst sitting on the verandah watching the birds playing in the trees or looking out for the resident fallow deer. On a clear night, take advantage of the dark skies of Mull to stargaze, looking out for the milky way and perhaps the Aurora Borealis.

Each lodge can cater for up to two adults, with either a king-sized bed or twin beds, depending on which lodge is selected.

Enjoy the utter peace and tranquility of this tiny hamlet on the west coast of Mull, just over 3 miles away from the nearest village. There are lots of opportunities to walk on Mull and many walks can begin from Gruline. There are also many land and sea tours which are ideal for spotting wildlife. The owners will be happy to provide extra information on places to spot birds & wildlife or to give advice on types of walks available in the area.
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
There are many different restaurants on the island and the nearest village has both a restaurant and a pub. Further afield, Tobermory has several pubs and restaurants, with Café Fish being highly recommended, as well as Macgochans which serves great bar food. Try the indulgent cake selection at Salen's Coffee Pot or feast on a delicious hand-stretched pizza from the Foodie Shack's travelling converted horse box, and not forgetting the Lochbuie Larder, where guests can stock the freezer with local home-cooked meals for their stay.
